The house rules for 215 West 75th Street are available through the links on the right side of this page. This is the most recent version of the rules, revised in December 2003. In the event of a conflict between these rules and the printed rules, the written copy prevails.
The preamble to the printed rules reads as follows:
Dear Shareholder:
This packet was put together in a handy reference form so that you can quickly and easily find the answers to some of the most common questions we face as a Cooperative.
Most of the information was taken from the Proprietary Lease, the Managing Agent’s Office, or from City resources.
These House Rules do not – and are not intended to – change the legal rights and responsibilities of the Co-op and its shareholders. Those rights and responsibilities are governed by the terms of the Proprietary Lease and by City and State laws.
Instead, in the spirit of neighborliness and with the desire to maintain a degree of excellence in our lifestyle, this packet is offered as a collection of guidelines.
